The admission arrangements for a school are the full set of arrangements which set out how a school will admit pupils.
This includes the published admission number (the maximum number of pupils intended to be admitted to the relevant year group), the oversubscription criteria and information on waiting lists.
Essex County Council is the admission authority for all community and voluntary controlled schools in Essex. This means that the council sets the oversubscription criteria and makes the decisions as to which pupils are admitted to these schools.
The full determined admission arrangements and further information on applying for a school place can be found on the Essex County Council website:

Those wishing to apply for a place at Boxted St Peter’s are welcome to make an appointment to view the school at anytime. Please contact the school office to arrange a mutually convenient time.
Admissions
Boxted St Peter’s CEVC Primary is a ‘single-form entry’ school. This means we have one class in each year group. Classes are limited to a maximum of 30 children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 (like all schools), and classes in Years 3 to 6 will not exceed this, wherever possible.
Prior to 2013 we were a smaller school, with just 18 children in each year group, therefore we still have a few spaces in the upper parts of the school.
